Project Title:
If They Build It, They Will Understand

Lesson Plans/Directions:
The study of Multiple Intelligences says that different students have a variety of strengths in the ways they learn. Some are more “hands on,” some are strong verbally and textually, and others are musical. This list goes on… we felt it was important for a student to show their understanding of a topic through a hands on project.

Students have created a “Globe Theater”, the Missouri River from the novel Huckleberry Finn, and a a Jeopardy Board for novel reviews and games (with the questions cards and answers).

Software Used:
Vellum or any other Drafting/CAD program
Microsoft Word
Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, iPhoto, etc.

Subject and Grade Level:
MS or HS Cather Church: Intergrated Subject Areas Also Covered:
Industrial Technology, Graphic Design, and Literature.
