Beginning in 2007, Arnold co-oped football with Callaway in Junior High to see how everything would work out between the two schools. Both school boards wanted to see how scheduling would work, travel time, coaches working together, and how the players would get along. The Junior High football teams has only lost one game from 2007 to 2010. The declining number of kids in both schools made it tough to field a competitive team. We could also capitalize on coaching experience. The first year of the co-op for the High school football team was a success making it to the third round of playoffs and went 10-1 for the season. The 2011 high school season began with almost 30 players between the two schools.
